Thank you Patsy! Yes - it takes a lot of practice to stay with oneself and one's own compass - and use both to navigate one's life - to live according to one's own heart!

We humans are a social herd animal. We need each other to thrive - but we also need to be ourselves to thrive. And many of us have a nasty habit of either coming down hard on others, or ourselves, or both - when we (or someone) step out of the line. When we do things not considered "normal", or just "too wild", to "out there".

Out of fear of being ostracized, of not belonging to the human community - we often silence ourselves, we dim our own light and personality.

Artists, poets - have a hard time silencing themselves. I find listening to poets, engaging in art, writing myself - is a great way for me to stay with my own heart - and even dare to rewild it!
